Report by Bhaskar Pradhan; Bhubaneswar: For the better future of children and Society City based voluntary organisation named Centre for Child and women Development in collaboration with ActionAid conducted a campaign named No to child marriage- Yes to School here at the dotted venue of Phase -1, Chandrasekharpur housing board colony school. The campaign inaugurated by Sandhyabati Pradhan, the Chairperson of Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child rights. Addressing to the august gathering the chairperson spokes on role and responsibility of children, parents and stakeholders to abolish child marriage and also educate the school going children on right to education. On this occasion a mass oath taking ceremony was conducted. Among others Debabrat Patra the Regional manager of ActionAid, National Manager Ghasiram panda and Head mistress Renu manjari Mohaptra attended.
