Bhubaneswar: Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) produced 3105 ton hot metal on 28th June, 2018 to record the highest single-day production since inception. The Kalinga Nagar based company also registered the highest single-day Pig Iron production of 2935 ton on the same day.
Shri S.S. Mohanty, Vice-Chairman & MD, NINL congratulated NINL collective for the achievement and encouraged to take the company to the next level. He praised the employees and said that NINL collective is fully committed to take NINL to the path of recovery.
In the coming few months, the integrated steel company has plans to start its Steel Melting Shop and operation of its captive mines which will be game changer for the company to move ahead in its turnaround plan.
The Blast Furnace of NINL surpassed 3000-mark per day hot metal production for the first time on 13th May, 2018 when it produced 3001 ton. Going ahead, it produced 3023 ton a day after.
