Newly elected Congress MLAs meet in Himachal Pradesh to elect their leader

In Himachal Pradesh, the newly elected Congress MLAs are meeting in Shimla today. The meeting is likely to pass a resolution authorising the Congress President to elect the leader of the Congress Legislature Party. The party has won 40 seats in the 68-member Assembly. The BJP has won 25 seats, while Independent candidates have bagged three seats.
