Report by Nisapati Nayak, Sunabeda: The new building for the sunabeda sub-division police station near to national highway 26 by the odisha Police Housing Corporation, is inaugurated by the Deputy Inspector General), mrs. s.shyani today.
Mr.charansinghmeena(I.P.S),Koraput,Mr.Smit.P.Parmar(I.P.S),S.D.P.O,Sunabeda,Mrs.Jogeswari Behera,Iic,Sunabeda,Mr.P.Chotray,Iic ,Semliguda,Mr.Deb Gamang,Iic Pottangi ,Mr.S.Mahapatro ,Iic,Damanjodi, and all staff of sunabeda police station sub-division attended.
S.D.P.O office was ealier functioning at sunabeda p.s now it has shifted to new building office cum residence.The new building is equipped with all facilities.
Mr.smit.p.pramar said that steps were being taken to set up all necessary headquarter units needed for the relatively at the earliest in an attempt to strengthen the policing in the region. “As part of it, units like District Crime Records Bureau (DCRB) and Special Branch will be constituted,” he added.
Mr.smit.p.pramar said that plans were also afoot to increase the police strength in the district multi-fold by allocating more number of personnel based on the classification given to law and order police stations based on the workload.
The facility was constructed by odisha Police Housing Corporation Limited which was led by the team of officials by mr.B.b.nayak(deputy manager),mr.s.r.nayak(jointmanager)and last not the least by mr. Biswajit pradhan(asst.project manager).
