Bhubaneswar: Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), which has upgraded its logistic facilities to meet the enhanced saleable production at its Kalinga Nagar plant, dispatched 4190 ton Pig Iron on 24th July, 2018 to register the highest single day Pig Iron dispatch by road since inception. The earlier best was 3718 ton achieved on 26th November 2015.
The company has witnessed considerable increase in production post capital repair of its Blast Furnace in April 2018 and plans for steel Billets, TMT and Wire Rods production in this financial year. To meet the growing dispatch demands, NINL has already started upgrading its logistic facilities.
NINL’s production of 74960 ton hot metal and 69780 ton pig iron in June this year is the best monthly production figures of the company since inception. The company’s production in during May and June has established 29.65 per cent growth over the corresponding period of the last fiscal 2017-18.
