Bhubaneswar: As many as 6,500 boats destroyed by CycloneFani in Puri and Chilika; 7,500 fishing nets destroyed, total loss pegged at Rs 10.37 crore, informs Information & Public Relations secretary Sanjay Singh.
Cyclone Fani has damaged many of the fishermen’s boats. Apart from houses, livelihood & boats, people have also lost their livestock. People have courageously fought CycloneFani. The administration monitoring the damage occurred to household,agriculture, livestock, boats & fishing nets to provide proper rehabilitation & relief.
