Report by Badal Tah; Rayagada:The Central Reserve Police force(CRPF) today celebrated Shri Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s Birth Anniversary as “National Unity Day” at 4th Battalion CRPF Rayagada in a befitting manner. To grace the occasion, Shri Yatendra Kumar Rajput, Commandant in the presence of Shri M. K. Sicon 2nd I/C, Smt Mitu Roy, Dy.Commandant, Shri. Ram Niwas Tyagi, Dy. Commandant of 4 Bn CRPF Rayagada, Sh. S.K. Porohit Dy. Commandant of DIGP (Tac Hqr RGDA) alongwith other Officers and Jawans of CRPF delivered patriotic and contextual speech about the importance of the day.
During the occasion, a marathon was conducted as “Run for Unity” in the morning where students and citizens participated in large nimbers & in the evening, March Past was organized at District Hqr Rayagada in which Commandant of NCC, Civil Administration, Students of various schools/Instituitions and civilians participated.
