Bhubaneswar: Final day of the Mukteswar Dance Festival maintained the momentum in energy and enchanted one and all.
Set amidst the majestic Mukteswar Temple, the cultural event began with a high note Shiv Vandana performed by Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. Odissi danseuse Janhabi Behera then took over the stage and charmed the audience with her graceful movements.
The duet Odissi performance by Tapan Kumar Sahoo and Bidya Biswajita made for a joyous performance with sculpturesque poses and a series of vigorous footwork.
The event concluded with dancers from Gunjan Dance Academy Meera Das and Group elevating the enthralling experience of the evening.The performance could be interpreted as poetry in motion and demonstrated a ritualistic choreography.
Apart from the usual art and dance connoisseurs, foreign nationals from countries like Japan, Russia, China, Brazil, Germany among others graced the occasion as well.
