New Delhi: “To mark the 87th birthday of the living legend of Odissi dance Guru Mayadhar Raut (Padmashri) , his students have organised Nritya Parampara – Festival of Indian Classical & Contemporary Dances on 6th 7th & 8th July , 2017 at Triveni Kala Sangam in New Delhi. The festival was inaugurated by Mrs Mridula Pradhan on Thursday. ”
The festival also provides a stage to young Indian artists to present their myriad dance forms. From Manipuri to Odissi and even Indian contemporary dance, there are a variety of choreographies.
