Keonjhar: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a flagship subsidiary of Coal India Limited, today organised Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sammelan at Anandpur in Keonjhar district of Odisha, showcasing the achievements of Government of India in the past three years.
Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Honourable Minister of State for Steel and Mines, Government of India inaugurated the sammelan as chief guest on the occasion and also addressed the gathering on Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas mission of central government.
Mr Sai also promoted Ujjala Yojana of cenral government and provided LPG connections to local women at the Sammelan in Deogarh.
The achievements of the Government of India in the past three years as well as its popular developmental programmes were showcased before the people at the Sammelan, besides MCL’s story of success behind being the largest contributor to Odisha under CSR.
MCL, the highest coal supplying company of the country, is known for its initiatives towards socio-economic development of under-privileged segments in Odisha.
