Bhubaneswar: In line with the company’s policy to serve the local community, the Aditya Birla Group Company, Aditya Aluminum in its plant location at Lapanga, Sambalpur has recently organized a mega Blood Donation Camp at Township club House in association with Burla Blood Bank, Sambalpur Blood Bank and the local NGO, Sambal in which 332 units of Blood were collected.
The camp was inaugurated by the PD, DRDA, Mr. Sukant Tripathy, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Cluster Head, HINDALCO, Mr. A. Satyanarayan, HINDALCO, Sambalpur, Mr. Vivekananda Mishra, Head, HR, Mr. Satya Prasad Dash, Manager, HR were present and encouraged the blood donors and thanked for their noble work. The PD, DRDA, Mr. Tripathy appealed the young mass to present to donate more and more blood. Among others, Mrs. Sumitra Majhi, DLO and Mrs. Padmabati Marandi, RLI, Sambalpur appreciated to all blood donors and distributed certificate of appreciation. The Head of various Dept. Employees, Local intellectuals, youths and social workers, Ladies Club members had donated 332 units of Blood in the camp. Mrs. Sweta Upadhyaya and Mr. Manoranjan Behera from CSR Deptt. successfully coordinated the entire camp.
