Sambalpur: Officers and staff at Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) headquarters here today participated in “swachhta shramdan” at Burla town, as apart of its on going “Swachhta Pakwada” being observed from September 15 to October 2, 2018.
Led by Director (Technical/Operations) of the company Mr JP Singh, officers and staff cleaned Burla Bus Stand and marched with awareness banners to create awareness on waste disposal and clean surroundings. Mr Munawar Khursheed, IRPF, Chief Vigilance Officer, also participated in this cleanliness drive.
A tableau with a melodious song on “swachh bharat” being played to create awareness attracted civil society to join hands with MCL in cleaning the township.
MCL, a leading coal mining giant, is organising a series of activities to promote the vision of “swachh bharat” in and around company’s command area.
