Sambalpur: MCL provides Ambulance to Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation, Training & Research (SVNIRTR), Cuttack against financial assistance of Rs. 16,33,686/- . The Institute is an autonomous body under the administrative control of the Department of Empowerment of Divyangjan, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt of India.
The Institute also provides rehabilitation services in the peripheral villages of Talcher and Ib coalfields and has been declared as a Centre of excellence by the Govt in 2015.
The Ambulance will serve the needs of patients for emergency referral to Cuttack/Bhubaneswar for specialised treatment apart from serving the rural locations.
