New Delhi: MCL participated in Conference on “Transformation of Aspirational Districts- CSR initiatives by CPSEs” organized by Dept.of Public Enterprise(DPE) at Delhi. MCL showcased it’s best CSR projects in the Conference.
Sri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises was the Chief Guest & Sri Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog was keynote speaker.
MCL was represented by Director(Personnel),GM(CSR) and Mr Arabinda Sahoo.The bottom line was that CPSEs can play a significant role in nation building processes & it has energy & dynamism to deliver through its CSR interventions in synergy with state & district administration keeping people in centre.
MCL has approved projects amounting to Rs.5.71 Cr for Nuapada & Rs.4.44 Cr for Rayagada district under its Aspirational Districts Program(ADP). Projects for Kandhamal districts are under consideration.
