Bhubanewar: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) today released its 5th Sustainability Report 2015-16, titled ‘Mine to market sustainability’.
The Board of Directors of MCL, at their 189th meeting held in Bhubaneswar today, formally released the Sustainability Report, which gives information about economic, environmental, social and governance performance of the company.
The report is a disclosure and communication of company’s performance in sustainability to its stakeholders. The key Material Aspects for MCL have been identified and our endeavours to manage them effectively with projected targets for future have been described vividly. The report clearly demonstrates MCL’s strategic commitment to its stakeholders and how it intends focusing on environmental issues and social responsibility on its path of economic progress.
