Manas Sahoo created a sand sculpture On the eve of “International Yoga Day”

Puri: On the eve of “International Yoga Day”, international sand artist Shri Manas Sahoo has created a sand sculpture on the golden sea-beach of Puri.

Yoga is deeply ingrained in our culture and tradition. As the rainbow in sky displays its beauty all around the universe, exactly in the same way the benefit and advantage of the culture, traditions, and yoga of India have tied the world in one thread.

All these form the subject of this sand art where the beauty of Rainbow is shown along with the various traditions of several countries and our primary culture Yoga which has tied the whole world in one thread, and it is the advantage of the Yoga that the body remains healthy; peace, stability, and inner-peace can be gained by that and along with the development of the person, the development of the nation is ensured. All these are shown in a very artistic manner in this sand art at the Manas Sahoo Sand Art Park.

This sand art is of 25 feet of width, and some 20 tonnes of sand is used to make it. To built this sculpture it took Mr. Sahoo and the students of his Institute nearly seven hours to complete. In this sand art the message of “International Yoga Day” is given.
