Bhubaneswar: A Bhajan Samaroha and Cultural Mahotsav of Lord Shri Lingaraj will be held at the Bhajan Mandap infront of Lord Lingaraj Temple on March 4, 2019 on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. The Mahotsav is scheduled to be celebrated as per the previous practice of inviting the National artists. Addressing a Press Conference on Friday here Former Minister and President of Ekamra Sanskrutika Prakashani Suresh Kumar Routray informed that this is our 29th year of celebration.
Renowned singer Anup jalota, Anuradha padwal, lalaji Sharma, Neha kaur alongwith his team would showcase their brilliant performances during the festival. Other eminent singers of Odisha will also participate in the programme. The programme is scheduled to begin at 4 am with Shankhadhwani. Following that Beda Patha, Shiva Sahasranama, Bhagavad Gita Patha, Shiva Chetana, Harihara Bhajan, Ramacharita Manas Parayan and Prabachan will give glimpse of spiritual touch. Besides these, the National level Bhajan Samaroha to be held from 7 pm to 5 am will be the other major attraction. “We have also invited the Chief Minister and other eminent personalities to grace the occasion and some eminent music artists will also be felicitated”, said organisation’s Secretary Sanat Mishra & Lingaraj Sahoo.
