Mumbai: Maharashtra government to give 50 lakh compensation to the kin of two policemen who died due to #COVID19 infection. HC Chandrakant Pendurkar, working at PStn Vakola in Mumbai, succumbed to Coronavirus today. He is the first policeman from Maharastra to lose his life to this virus. 52-year-old Head Constable Sandip Surve becomes 2nd Maharashtra Police to Pass Away of Covid-19 in two days.
Total 96 Police personnel have tested positive for COVID19 till today, of which 7 have recovered said Maharashtra Police. Maharashtra Police have decided to give an advance of Rs 1 lakh to its personnel infected by the #coronavirus to help them manage their treatment cost.
