Sambalpur: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has achieved a new record in coal production by producing 6.97 lakh tonne a day on 30th December 2019, as it ushers in the New Year 2020 with a higher motivation and determination to meet the energy demand of the nation.
The company registered a coal production of 6,96,641 tonne and over burden removal of 5,90,168 cubic meters for the 30th December 31, 2019. This was the highest achievement of coal production and OB removal by the company in the month of December ever.
