Madhya Pradesh To Run Vaccination Maha Abhiyan on 25th And 26th August

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the second phase of the two-day Kovid-19 Vaccination Maha Abhiyan will be conducted on August 25 and 26 in the state. The Maha Abhiyan will be conducted in all the districts of the state. For this the campaign will be intensified. For the purpose of wider public awareness, the message of the benefits of vaccines, the necessity and utility of the second dose, through various media, will be disseminated to the public through subject-experts.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan reviewed the vaccination work at his residence this evening. He said that environment would be created by getting the cooperation of all the religious, social, political, government, non-government, voluntary organizations etc. of the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the importance of vaccination should be conveyed to the people. After the control of the second wave, there has been a decrease in the precaution of prevention from corona among the general public. There is also a feeling of apathy towards vaccination. There should be no gap in the level of awareness. It is very important to apply the second dose after the first dose. This message should be conveyed to the general public through the campaign. Also, the two-day vaccination campaign should be edited smoothly.

Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang said that vigorous efforts would be made in every village and ward of the state for the success of the campaign with the active cooperation of the Crisis Management members.

Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains said that using the experiences and innovations of the campaign organized earlier on 21st June, all the pre-campaign preparations will be completed by ensuring proper use of all doses of Kovid-19 vaccine. .

Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health and Family Welfare, Mr. Mohd. Suleman informed that using Sarthak App and other techniques, messages will be sent through SMS, telephone, audio messages to the people who have missed the second dose. . This work will be done by mobilization of more than 32 thousand fellows of Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram and 4.5 lakh brigade members along with one lakh corona volunteers.

Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Manish Rastogi, Health Commissioner Shri Akash Tripathi, Director of National Health Mission Smt. Chhavi Bhardwaj, Commissioner Public Relations Dr. Sudam Khade, Director Vaccination Dr. Santosh Shukla and other officers were present.
