Madhya Pradesh Government Gears Up To Control Corona Spread

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that he is overwhelmed with the public support met to the “Swasthya Agraha” campaign launched for public awakening against corona infection. This war cannot be fought without the cooperation of the society. The state government is making all possible arrangements, but the cooperation of the society is necessary. Swasthya Agraha campaign got support and backing of all political, social, religious organisations, resident associations, trade associations, employee organisations etc. So far, more than 34 thousand people have registered themselves under the Corona Volunteer Scheme launched to motivate the people to participate in the campaign against Corona. With the cooperation of the people of the state, it is clear that the government and society are together. Corona will lose and humanity will win.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that lockdown is the last resort to control corona infection. Alongwith the country and the world Corona infection is spreading rapidly in Madhya Pradesh also. The state government is monitoring the situation; every possible measure to control it is being taken. Disaster management committees of the districts are alert keeping in view the local conditions. If the need arises, imposition or enhancement of lockdown as the last option to control the situation could be considered.

CM Shri Chouhan said tendency is important along with testing, tracing, treatment and teekakaran

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given the mantra of four T- testing, tracing, treatment and teekakaran (vaccination) in the war against Corona. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that there is a need to include one more T. That is Tendency, which means we have to adopt Covid-friendly behaviour. It is essential that all individuals make it a habit to wear mask, maintain social distancing and frequent hand washing. It is necessary to adopt these precautions continuously. A feeling has to be developed that if we are not adopting these precautions, then we are committing a sin or a crime. The expression “my protection my armour” should be in all people.

MP means ‘Mask Pahno’

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has to be freed from the fear and outbreak of Corona, MP means “Mask Pahno” (wear a mask). We will be able to get rid of this fear and outbreak of Corona only by wearing a mask. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was interacting with media representatives on the concluding of the Swasthya Agraha started from April 6 near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Minto Hall.

Corona Volunteer will cooperate every moment

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Corona Volunteers associated in the campaign against Corona infection have been divided into four groups. They are – Vaccination Volunteers, Medical Facility Volunteers, Mask Awareness Volunteers and Mohalla Toli Sangathan Volunteers. Vaccination Volunteers will contribute as vaccination centre volunteer, vaccination motivator and vaccination helper. Medical Facility Volunteers will help in informing people about medical facilities and providing transport facility for medical treatment. Mask Awareness Volunteers will conduct activities such as mask distribution, interrupting and motivating people for wearing mask and stopping those who roam about without wearing masks. Mohalla Toli Organisation Volunteers will assist in home quarantine and institutional quarantine. Along with this, they will take up the responsibility of prevention of corona infection in their locality, street, colony.

15 thousand beds will be available for free treatment of corona

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all of us together have to convey this message to the public and also follow it ourselves that “no mask no talk’, “no mask no goods’ and “no mask no moving about.” Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that in view of the Corona situation and based on the suggestions received, the government has taken some important decisions for corona control in the last 24 hours which are as follows –

The number of beds available for Covid patients will be increased from 24 thousand to 36 thousand.

The number of beds available for free treatment of Covid patients will be increased to 15 thousand.

720 fever clinics will be operated in the state.

Free corona testing of 40 thousand suspected patients will be done every day.

L.N. Hospital in Bhopal will be declared as Covid Hospital and it will be reserved for free treatment of Covid patients.

300 beds have been reserved for free treatment of Covid patients at People’s Hospital in Bhopal.

For the convenience of the general public, the government has fixed the maximum rates for various types of tests at private hospitals or testing centres. Rs 700 for R.T.P.C.R., Rs 300 for Rapid Antigen Test, Rs 3000 for C.T. Scan, Rs 600 for A.B.G. Test, Rs 500 for D-Dimer Test, Rs 1000 for Pro-Calcitonin Test, Rs 200 for C.R.P. Test, Rs 180 for Serum Ferritin and one thousand rupees for I.L.-6 test have been fixed. If a sample has to be collected from home, then an additional fee of Rs 200 can be charged in all categories.

Standard operating procedure (SOP) and protocol will be prescribed in relation to the use of Remdesivir injection. This will curb unnecessary use of Remdesivir and end its shortage. Instructions have been given for purchasing Remdesivir Injection at the government level. This injection will be made available free of cost to the poor and middle class.

Hospital admission protocol will be prepared and implemented. The benefit of this will be that every eligible patient will get the facility of admission to the hospital and those who do not need to be admitted, will be able to get treatment by staying isolated at home.

For effective prevention of Covid infection, the transport of passenger bus vehicles to and fro from Chhattisgarh state has been postponed till 15 April in the public interest.

“Kill Corona-2” campaign will be started in the rural areas of the districts of the state where the Corona infection is increasing. Under this, potential patients will be identified by undertaking door-to-door survey.

Necessary steps will be taken to prevent black marketing and unnecessary price rise of masks, oxygen, medicines etc.

Home isolated patients do not go out of the house and follow the protocol, a strict arrangement will be made to ensure this.

Corona volunteers will be provided with credentials.

There will be a system to make real time information about the availability of beds in government and private hospitals easily available to the general public.

The beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Scheme will get free treatment in all eligible hospitals.

Proper arrangement of medicines, medical examination and health staff will be ensured in government hospitals.

Availability of oxygen in hospitals will be continuously monitored.

Ten lakh masks will be distributed to the public.

Useful tips received during “Swathya Agraha”

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that useful suggestions have been received from political, social, religious organisations, resident associations, trade associations, employee organisations, doctors associations, medical associations etc. during the “Swathya Agraha”. To prevent corona, positive news should also be circulated in the media.

The stories of the warriors who won by battling the Corona infection should be broadcast.

Auto generated credentials should be provided to Corona volunteers.

The public should be made aware of the huge cost to be paid for not wearing a mask, not following distancing, and not adopting measures to prevent corona.

To prevent spread of Corona in rural areas publicity should be done by mobile vans.

Arrangements should be made so that RT-PCR report can be provided within 24 hours.

Slogans of “No Mask No Goods” should be pasted in shops.

Temporary closure of the weekly haat markets may be considered.

Establishment of Covid-Mitra Desk in each district.

Private hospitals should be granted permission for rapid antigen test of Covid and RTPCR.

Protocol of treatment at home should be issued for patients with very mild symptoms.

In private hospitals, a rate list for treatment should be pasted.

Make people aware by promoting in regional languages ​​of the state.

Each medical store should have an arrangement to keep a corona-kit for treatment that can be done at home.
