Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with his wife reached Datia and performed pooja archana in Maa Pitambara Peeth on the pious occasion of Navmi. He also prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state. Minister in-charge of the district Smt. Maya Singh and Minister for Public Relations Dr. Narottam Mishra accorded welcome to the Chief Minister on his arrival at Datia. MLAs Shri Ghanshyam Pironiya, Shri Pradeep Agrawal, President Jila Panchayat Smt. Rajni Prajapati, President Nagar Palika Shri Subhash Agrawal and Public Representatives were present on the occasion.
After performing pooja in Maa Pitambara Peeth, Shri Chouhan said that he has prayed for enhancement of girls’ dignity besides respect and to make people happy, prosperous and healthy. Moreover, Shri Chouhan extended best wishes of Vijayadashmi to the people.
