Madhya Pradesh CM extends gratitude to corona warriors

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that the second wave of Corona was ‘the most terrible phase of my life’. The manner in which Madhya Pradesh has come out from the crisis, with the help of public support, I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. Madhya Pradesh is a unique model of Corona control through Crisis Management Committees with public support, and a topic for discussion all over the country.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the Corona crisis has been averted, but has not ended. Corona curfew will continue in the state till June 15 with several exemptions. The Crisis Management Groups will decide the relaxations and will review the situation every third day. The infection must not be allowed to grow in any condition.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is mandatory for every person to adopt Covid friendly behavior and follow Covid guidelines. This should be ensured in every district.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held discussions with ministers in-charge, MPs, MLAs, secretaries in-charge of all the districts, including members of the Crisis Management Groups through video conferencing in Mantralaya today. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Shri Mohammad Suleman were present.

State’s positivity rate is 1.6 percent, new cases are 1205

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state’s positivity rate has come down to 1.6 percent which is a matter of joy. The state’s recovery rate is now 96 percent. Today, 1205 new positive cases have come up after more than 75 thousand tests were conducted. There are no cases of Corona in Khandwa district and less than 10 new cases have been reported in 30 districts.

Shopkeeper must follow the protocol

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all the shopkeepers should follow the Corona Protocol. Everyone must wear masks, keep sanitizer at the shops, make arrangements for distance between customers and not give goods to people without masks.

Free ration must be made available to every villager

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government is giving free ration for 3 months and the central government for 2 months. 5 kg ration is being given per person per month. It should be ensured that the ration is available to all.

Five new Covid assistance schemes

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that five new schemes including Mukhya Mantri Covid Upchar Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Bal Seva Yojana, Corona Yoddha Yojana, Anukampa Niyukti, and Vishesh Anugrah Yojana and ex-gratia assistance schemes on Covid deaths have been launched to help people in the state. The benefits of all these should be ensured to the public.

50 percent of MLA fund as voluntary grant

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the government has decided that now the MLAs will be able to use 50 percent of their MLA fund as voluntary grant.
