Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan immersed Lord Shree Ganesh idol with deep respect and emotions at local Prempura Ghat. Shri Chouhan’s family and members of his private staff took part in the procession.
The procession raising slogan “Ganpati Bappa Mourya Agle Baras Tu Jaldi Aa” proceeded from the CM House and reached immersion site at Prempura Ghat covering Polytechnic Square, Roshanpura, New Market, Mata Mandir, P&T Square and Nehru Nagar. CM Shri Chouhan and members of Bhajan mandli continued reciting praises for Ganpati Bappa and raised slogans in praise of Lord Shree Ganesh.
Wife of the Chief Minister Smt. Sadhna Singh Chouhan, Mayor Bhopal Shri ALok Sharma, MLA Shri Surendranath Singh, President Municipal Corporation Shri Surjeet Singh Chouhan and devotees in large number were present.
Shree Ganesh idol was immersed with the Maha Aarti at Prempura Ghat. Smt. Sadhan Singh Chouhan distributed Prasad among the devotees. The entire atmosphere was filled with devotion and enthusiasm. The devotees expressed their devotion showering flower from place to place and raised slogans praising Lord Shree Ganesha.
