Bhubaneswar: Literacy rate of Scheduled Caste in Odisha has increased by 14.1%; from 55.1% in 2001, literacy rate went up to 69.2% in 2011; at present there are 700 Ashram Schools, 501 Sevashrams & 27 Eklavya Schools in Odisha. This was informed by the State SC/ST Welfare Minister Jagannath Saraka in Odisha Assembly.
