Report by Basant Rath, Nabarangpur: The district Bar Association hold demonstration and cease court work on Saturday in demand of establishment of vigilance court at
Nabarangpur. The President of Bar Association Narashingho Tripathy, said establishment of vigilance court at Nabarangpur is a long cherished demand of this Bar association. In many events our association submitted memorandum before the Honourable High Court of Odisha and also before the state government praying for the setting up of the vigilance court.
To press our demand the association has resolved to observe one day demo and cease of court work, he added. All day to day court work was standstill. Lawyers locked the main gates of the district sessions court. People seeking legal help suffered as the lawyers did not attend any of the Judicial courts, including revenue courts.
