New Delhi: JP Nadda has been elected unopposed as national president of Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday. He succeeded Union Minister Amit Shah. Nadda was the interim president of the party. Nomination process for the post of the president began at 10 am at the party office. The whole process ended by 12.30 pm.

A worker like me coming from a village and becoming the National President is the specialty of the BJP says BJP National President JPNadda after taking the charge.

Today, we’re the world’s largest party that is in power in India. We have the highest number of MPs and MLAs in the country. We aren’t going to stop at this. There are some states left and we will make sure we reach to them as well. PM Modi talked about the work culture of our party and how we’re different. We aren’t just different in our principles, but the results of those principles are different as well says BJP National President JPNadda after taking the charge.
