Sambalpur: Jagriti Mahila Mandal, a social organisation of wives of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), today distributed 188 school bags among SC/ST students of St Joseph’s Convent (150) and MCL DAV Anand Vihar (38) under their educational project ‘Jigyasa’.
President of the Mahila Mandal Dr Nisha Thakur also interacted with the students and encouraged them to study hard and excel in the life.
Vice-presidents Ms Paramjit Kaur, Ms Madhu Mishra, Ms Naushina Afrin Ali and Ms Padmja Singh along with former vice-president Ms Jyotirmayee Parida were prominent among members of Jagriti Mahlia Mandal.
Programme was conducted by Ms Ranjita Tripathy, Secretary, Jagriti Mahila Mandal.
