Bhubaneswar: Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Anup Sahu today took charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Bhubaneswar.
Sahu, the former Superintendent of Police (SP) took the charge in the presence of predecessor Satyabrata Bhoi and other senior police officials.
“I will do my best to maintain law and order in the city. Besides, give importance for the safety of women, VVIPs and crime control,” said Sahoo while speaking to the newsmen soon after assuming the charge .
