Puri: International Sand Artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has sculpted a statue of Gandhiji on Puri Beach on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
It took Manas Sahoo 7 hours to build this sand architecture. It is 15 feet wide and 15 tons of sand has been used. The sand art was created to pay homage to The Father of Our Nation ,Mahatma Gandhi, also known as our Beloved Bapu who always believed that “Peace heralds Prosperity”. The Sand Sculpture has the message of “Happy Gandhi Jayanti” engraved in it.
