International Literary Day observed at Phulbani by ‘Campaign for Peace, Kandhamal 

Phulbani: On the eve of International Literary Day a meeting has been organised with the students, teachers and member of civil society by the Campaign for Peace, Kandhamal at Sri Balaji Junior College’s campus.
After the opening song presented by the students like Priyanka Patra, Madhusmita Mohaptra, Asima Rani Pradhan and Sumita Digal , the students of Sri Balaji Junior College, the meeting was started under the chair person Mr. Pramod Nayak, Principal of the college.
The president of the Campaign for Peace, Md. Abdul Sukur and the main speaker of the meeting on his speech narrated the importance of literary towards development of human society and civilizations. He told that literary is a way to establish a peaceful society and ignorance as well as absence of scientific attitudes are the main reasons for our backwardness.
The chief speaker Prof. Prasanna Bisoi in his speech discussed about the historical background of International Literary Day and role of Campaign for Peace to organise such programme among the students.
Among others the lecturer of Sri Balaji Junior College Mr. D. Shyamsan, Mr. Bishnu Babu, Mr. Prahallad Swain, teacher of AJO High School, the students like Bibekananda Panda, Rakesh Digal and Madhusmita Mohapatra also spoke on the occasion. Mr. Jirimiya Sunamajhi, the executive body member of Campaign for Peace gave vote of thanks.
