Rayagada: State Resource Centre for Adult and Continuing Education(Agragamee), Rayagada in collaboration with State Literacy Mission Authority, Odisha celebrated International Literacy Day on 8th September at Sankruti Bhavan, Rayagada. A numbers of programme like Rally, debate competition, awareness programme and meeting has organised on this occasion.
A meeting on observation of International Literacy Day has organized at Sanskruti Bhavan on which Dr. Purushatam Gomango, Chairman, Zilla Parishad, Rayagada inaugurating the programme. In his inaugural speech, he call for working with ethics and morality for the development of tribals in the Rayagada district. He also emphasize to change the mindset of the different stockholder and contribute towards society who involve in the education and development process.
Mrs. Vidya Das give emphasis for enhancement of literacy to eradicate corruption from the society. Mr. Achyut Das, Director, Agragamme gave emphasis for political, digital and environment literacy. Among others, Mr. Binadini Panda, District Project Coordinator, SSA and Addl. Project Director, DRDA, Mrs. Anesthecia Kerketa, ADEO, Rayagada, Mr. Narendra Mishra, educationist, Mr. Raj Kishore Sahu, Educationist, Dr. Rasmita Panigrahi, lecturer in Odia, Mrs. Sumani Jhodia also spoke on this occasion. Dr. Chandan Ku. Singh, Director, SRC, coordinate the programme. A newsletter on SAGY villages also inaugurate also on this occasion.

Among others Mr. Prabir Nayak, Sub-Collector, Rayagada, Mrs. Anesthecia Kerketa, ADEO,Rayagada, Dr. Narendra Mishra, Dr. Chandan Ku. Singh, Director, SRC, Rayagada, Mrs. Vidya Das, Mrs. Sumani Jhodia, Mr. Achyut Das, CRCCs and ABEOs of Rayagada block, students, members of self-help groups, teachers, academicians, neo-literate participated in the rally.
