Dhamra: With the objective to promote youth engagement, Adani Foundation, the CSR wing of Adani Dhamra Port has been organizing different sports events in the core and rail corridor of Adani dhamra Port, Bhadrak. As the part of the initiative, the Foundation has organized an inter GP volley ball Touranment at Samantraypur among the youth clubs focusing on Volley Ball. 08 teams such are Erada, Kolha, Sama Club Bhatapada, ASYP Achak, TNB Chandbali, DVC Dolamandap, Kamaria Club and Guamala from the Rail Corridor GPs of Adani Dhamra Port were participated in this day and night tournament.
The day long tournament was inaugurated by District Sports Officer, Bhadrak Shri Manoj Kumar Das, IPE- Rajendra Kumar Biswal and Sanatan Barik- Sarapanch,Rajnagar in presence of the opinion Leaders from the locality Mr. Mukti Kanta Nayak, Mr. Sudarsan Biswal and Mr. Prasant Biswal. The event was coordinated by the authority deputed by the District Sports Office, Bhadrak.
In the final match TNB Chandbali team beat Erada Club by 3:1 points and awarded with the winner and runners – up trophy.
