Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that with the cooperation of the public representatives, social workers, organizations, media and the public, the entire staff including the police, administration are fighting against Corona with full courage in Indore. We will win this battle soon and Indore will set an example in the country.
The Chief Minister directed that effective implementation of the strategy of Identify, Isolate, Test and Treat (IITT) should be ensured in all the districts of the state including Indore. Owing to this we will soon be able to conquer Corona.
Shri Chouhan was reviewing the status of Corona and arrangements in the state today through video conferencing at Mantralaya. Today, he specifically reviewed the status of Corona in Indore. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Shri Vivek Johari, ACS Health Shri Mohammad Suleman, Secretary Public Relations Shri P. Narhari and others were present.
2100 tests per 10 lakh persons in Indore
It was informed during the review of Indore, that the rate of corona testing in Indore is 2100 tests per 10 lakh persons, while the state has an average of 200 tests per one lakh. The rate of testing in Indore is 10 times higher than the state rate. 5120 samples have been taken in Indore, out of which 1000 have been sent to Delhi for testing.
489 teams are conducting survey work
Collector Indore has informed that an intensive survey of Corona is being carried out in the infected areas in Indore. 489 teams have been engaged in this work and so far 3.9 lakh people have been surveyed in the infected areas. A total of 12 to 13 lakh persons have been surveyed in the entire city and the survey of 20 to 21 lakh people will be done in the next 7 days.
There should be no delay in ration distribution
The Chief Minister directed that fair price ration has been sent to all districts in sufficient quantity. There should be no delay in ration distribution. Ration can be distributed at the doorsteps of people, if we are not in a position to open the shops. In order to ensure that the vegetables and fruits of the farmers do not get spoiled, arrangement can be made to distribute their fruits and vegetables in a decentralized manner outside the city after buying them.
Control Room will be alerted if home quarantine person leaves home.
The IG Indore has informed that a system has been prepared with the help of MAP IT to monitor home quarantine people. An alert will come at the Control Room, if any person in quarantine leaves his/her home. Boundaries of Indore district and infected areas have been completely sealed and 3 tier blockade has been arranged here.
3 layer protocol for treatment
Divisional Commissioner Indore Shri Akash Tripathi said that the best treatment facilities are being provided to corona patients in Indore. For this, all the medical facilities are available at the dedicated hospital. Three layer protocol is being used by doctors for treating corona and patients are getting better.
Security cover worth Rs. 50 lakh
Shri Chouhan informed that the government has decided to extend assistance of Rs.50 lakh as security cover for all health workers, policemen and other personnel engaged in the battle of Corona in the state. This assistance will be provided immediately to the family of concerned in case of any untoward incident.
31 Corona positive cases in Khargone
In the Khargone district review, it was informed that there are 31 cases of Corona positive. The boundaries of the district have been completely sealed and movement of people has been restricted. Along with this, surveillance is also being done through drones. The Chief Minister gave instructions to ensure that no one comes out of the infected areas under any circumstances.
19 cases belongs to Sendhwa out of total 22 cases of Badwani
In the review of Barwani district, it was reported that there are 22 positive cases of Corona in the district, of which 19 cases are of Sendhwa. House-to-house distribution of essential commodities, fair price ration is being distributed in these areas. Farmers had come to sell their crops at support prices at 16 out of the 26 procurement centers in the district.
10 special officers should monitor effectively
The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that the 10 officers who have been made in-charge of monitoring the various districts of the state for corona work should effectively handle this task. They should constantly monitor their districts, as well as provide necessary guidance and assistance to those districts. They should act as the coordinator for all corona arrangements in the districts of their charge.
Ensure arrangements for lanbourers stranded in other states
The Chief Minister instructed the senior officers of the state, who have been appointed for the arrangements for the labourers of Madhya Pradesh stranded in other states that by taking a humane approach, they should ensure proper arrangements for their food, accommodation etc. At the same time, information of labourers like names, mobile numbers, bank accounts, etc. should be collected, so that the amount of Rs.1000 per labourer can be transferred by the Madhya Pradesh government to meet their daily needs.
