Bhubaneswar: All IndiGo flights to/from Bhubaneswar Airport stand cancelled for May 3 in view of CycloneFani. Due to Cyclone Fani, flights to/fro Visakhapatnam have been cancelled for today (May 2, 2019). Indigo has cancelled a total of 24 flights flying in and out of Bhubaneswar’s Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA).
Premium airline Vistara is offering change and waiving of cancellation fee for Bhubaneswar and Kolkata flights for travel between May 2, 2019, and May 5, 2018. In a statement, the airline said that if there is any fare difference, it will be applicable for date changes.
It should be noted that CycloneFani expected to make landfall near \Puri between 10 AM & 12 PM on May 3; currently the storm is centred 360 km away from Puri coast & moving at a speed of 16 kmph.
