Bhubaneswar: The All India Sainik Schools Teachers Training Workshop which commenced on 17th Jun 2019 came to an end on 22 June 2019.
Captain Dibya Shankar Mishra, Minister of State for Energy, Industries, MSME and Home graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Gp Capt P Ravi Kumar, Inspecting Officer, Sainik Schools Society, New Delhi, Col DD Swain, OC 120 TA BN, Bhubaneswar, Mr. T Matte Regional Officer, CBSE, Bhubaneswar, Shri Amitabh Swain, President Old Boys’ Association and Dr. Niranjan Padhi, Secretary OBA were other guests of honour for the closing ceremony. Gp Capt S Dominic Rayan, Principal Sainik School Bhubaneswar extended a warm welcome to all the distinguished guests in the presence of Wg Cdr Amitabh Ranjan, Cdr N Santhosh Kumar and Shri B Pradhan, Senior Master. In his address to the teachers attending the training workshop, Gp Capt P Ravi Kumar, Inspecting Officer spoke that such training workshops will be highly beneficial in developing professional skills amongst Sainik Schools Teachers. He also appealed teachers to emphasize on more number of Sainik School Cadets’ entry into NDA. Hon’ble Minister Capt Dibya Shankar Mishra remembered back his nostalgic days as an Old Boy of Sainik School Bhubaneswar and assured that the Government of Odisha will extend all possible help for the benefits of the Sainik School Cadets’. In this closing ceremony Wg Cdr Amitabh Ranjan, Vice Principal briefed the detailed training report and Gp Capt S Dominic Rayan, Principal proposed vote of thanks. Ms Anima Nanda, faculty conducted the stage.
