India Book of Records medal to Md. Imran Ali for his anti tobacco campaign

Bhubaneswar: Md. Imran Ali, Sankalpi Nasha Mukti Yuva Sankalp has been provided medal, appreciation letter and record holder identity card by India Book of Records for his anti tobacco campaign in nine community radio stations across Odisha on account of World No Tobacco Day of this year. To mention, Imran gave a vivid talk on harmful impact of tobacco, its bad impact upon children, anti tobacco legislation and quitting process of tobacco on this radio talk. This talk was aired by nine community radio stations and reached to many villages and towns of Odisha. Just to add, Imran has been a pioneer in anti tobacco campaign across Odisha since more than a decade. He has written two anti tobacco booklets and directed two documentary films on hazards of tobacco. He also had filled PIL in Odisha High Court appealing the ban of gutkha in the state.
