Report by Kahnu Nanda, Paradip: the 73rd Independence Day was celebrated at Paradip Refinery. Shri TDVS Gopalakrishna, Executive Director, Paradip Refinery unfurled the National Flag at Paradip Refinery Sports Complex on this occasion. Shri TDVS Gopalakrishna inspected the parade comprising of CISF, CISF Fire Wing, DGR Security and Delhi Public School, Paradip Refinery students. Executive Director in his address to the large gathering paid homage to freedom fighters. Shri TDVS Gopalakrishna, Executive Director, thanked all employees and their family members, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and their teams, CISF, the local communities and nearby villagers for their whole hearted support and cooperation.
On this occasion, students from nearby schools & colleges belonging to 08 Panchayats (Paradipgarh, Fatepur, Dhinkia, Kothi, Gandakipur, Biswali, Bagadia & Mangarajpur) were presented with Meritorious Award. CISF contingent of Paradip Refinery presented a demonstration on fire rescue operation followed by a Cultural programme.
