“Implementation of schemes is successful with involvement of general public”- says Madhya Pradesh CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the involvement of general public is necessary in any scheme or programme of public interest. This increases the significance of public welfare schemes. Implementation is also more successful. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said this while addressing the guest representatives from other states who came to Bhopal during the Anna Utsav. The representatives said that they were very happy to come to Madhya Pradesh. Good work was seen in the food and agriculture sector. Got to know a lot here about consumer welfare.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the model of public participation is wonderful. The work becomes easier with the cooperation of the public. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that whether it is Street Vendors Welfare Scheme or other schemes, even in the crisis of Corona, the Crisis Management Committees and citizens gave full cooperation in the control and prevention of the epidemic. Deendayal Antyodaya Samitis also play a similarly meaningful role. These committees also do the work of monitoring the schemes. People get proper benefit of ration distribution, Ladli Laxmi Yojana and other public interest schemes are properly, identification of eligible beneficiaries and filling their forms and helping them in getting benefits, all this is ensured with people’s cooperation.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan welcomed the food ministers and representatives of other states who came to Madhya Pradesh today under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana at the Chief Minister’s residence. Food Minister Shri Bisahulal Singh and Cooperative Minister Shri Arvind Bhadauria were also present on the occasion. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan honoured the guest delegates by presenting them a replica of the Sanchi Stupa and providing them with Anga Vastra.

Who came from which state

Ministers and officials of other states who participated in the Anna Utsav have been impressed by the natural beauty of Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh and the implementation of the schemes. Food Minister from Assam Shri Ranjit Kumar Das, former MLA Shri Narayan Deka and Principal Secretary Shri Vishwa Ranjan Samal attended the programme held in Bhopal today. During his meeting with Chief Minister Shri Chouhan at the Chief Minister’s residence, Assam Food Minister Shri Das said that the work of distribution of food grains is being done effectively in Madhya Pradesh.

Along with Agriculture Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Subodh Unyal, Additional Secretary Shri Pratap Singh Shah and Managing Director of Organic Commodity Board Shri Vinay Kumar have also come to Bhopal. They also liked the work of consumer welfare in Madhya Pradesh.

Agriculture and Tourism Minister Shri Pranjit Singh Rai and Food Secretary Shri Sardindu Choudhary have come from Tripura. Tripura Minister Shri Rai said that he liked the address of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. He congratulated the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan on behalf of the people of Tripura and extended an invitation to visit Tripura.

Food Minister Shri Rajendra Garg from Himachal Pradesh has been accompanied by Food Secretary Shri C. Pal Rasu and MD of Civil Supplies Corporation Shri Lalit Jain. This team also praised the grain procurement work done in Madhya Pradesh and the systematic completion of today’s food festival.

Food Minister Shri Kamlung Moshang, who came from Arunachal Pradesh, thanked Chief Minister Shri Chouhan for inviting ministers of other states to Madhya Pradesh. He said that we have come here to learn and understand. I had heard the praise of the hospitality of the people here, who came here and felt it. Haryana MLAs Shri Satya Prakash, Shri Amar Jeet and Shri Chandrashekhar Khare attended the programme organised in Dewas and Food Minister of Goa Shri Govind Gaude in Indore today.
