IFFCO is celebrating its 50 years of Golden Jubilee Celebration at Paradeep Unit  

Paradeep : Indian Farmers Fertiliser Coop. Ltd. (IFFCO) is celebrating its 50 years of Golden Jubilee in all the Units, viz. Kalol and Kandla in the State of Gujarat, Aonla & Phulpur in the State of U.P. and Paradip in the State of Odisha during Nov.2016-Nov.2017.  IFFCO is celebrating its 50 years of Golden Jubilee Celebration at Paradeep Unit. IFFCO produces DAP, NPK, NPK-I, NP & Urea and serving the nation tirelessly for the development of cultivation for farmers.  IFFCO’s fertilizers has a heavy demand in the market as the farmers are getting benefited for their production by using IFFCO brand fertilizers.
IFFCO has committed for its best production to meet the requirement of farmers at large.  In its Golden Jubilee Celebration, IFFCO has given a voice to the nation as “Mitthi ki jaan, Kisan ki shaan”.  During the Golden Jubilee Celebration, IFFCO has taken initiative and constructed Farmers Training Institute in Paradip, Odisha.  The Managing Director Dr. U.S. Awasthi has announced the slogan as mentioned above and thrust upon  the technique of using integrated nutrition management and also optimum, balanced use of fertilizers . The development in other sector for financial sustainability, IFFCO has a Vision 2020, documents such as:

IFFCO is in the forefront in all their Plants to make it eco-friendly and ensured smart Township in all their Units.  IFFCO has been laying continuous thrust on Quality movement in all its functional areas.

 

IFFCO Paradip Plant has been certified and awarded with:
 ISO 14001:2004 & OSHAS 18001:2007 from Bureau Veritas. ISO 50001:2011 for Energy Management System from QS Zurich 17th Annual Greentech Environment Gold Award 2017 from “Greentech Foundation” for outstanding achievements in Environment Management in Chemical Sector; Greentech Safety Gold Award 2016 “15th GREENTECH SAFETY GOLD AWARD 2016”, in Fertilizer Sector for outstanding achievement in Safety Management. Kalinga Safety Award 2016 – in Gold category for outstanding achievement in Safety Management CSR Award in the category of Green Environment and Pollution Control by Odisha CSR Forum Surendra Kumar Jakhar Memorial Award from “Orissa Krushak Samaj” for noble contribution in cooperative fertilizer sector in Odisha Odisha INC Legend Award-2016 in the category of “Excellent CSR Work”. Won the NHRDN 5th Corporate Leadership Business Quiz (Eastern Region)”.
The Board of Directors and Chairman Shri. B.S. Nakai and Managing Director Dr.U.S.Awasthi have inaugurated “Farmers Training Centre” within the premises of IFFCO.  Farmers from different district witnessed the programme. This training centre will impart training to the farmers for the better productivity in digital system. On the opening of this Training Centre, MD informed the gathering that this will cater training to the whole state of Odisha and outside as well.
It is worth to mention here that IFFCO is consistently striving for the upliftment of farmers and peripheral development all over the country by upgrading the Agricultural and allied sectors.  The whole programme was organized by the Unit Head Shri. A K Panda, Shri. K J Patel, GM (Maint.) Shri. S R Maurya and Shri. G C Acharya, DGM(HR).
