IDBI Kolkata Marathon Runners Adding New Laurels to The BCAC Running Squad

Bhubaneswar: It’s not too long that Bhubaneswar has witnessed a distinct squad of more than 30 runners from BCAC (Bhubaneswar Cycling and Adventure Club) running TATA Steel Bhubaneswar Half Marathon. Soon after, the captain of BCAC ran the most coveted TATA Mumbai Marathon with an amazing timing. Within a gap of two weeks, BCAC Running Squad assembled again together at the City of Joy – Kolkata to run another celebrated running event in India – The IDBI Kolkata Marathon.

 

On 4th of February, 2018, Ajay Nanda and Soubhagya Kumar Rath (barefoot) attempted and completed successfully Full Marathon of 42.2Kms at IDBI Kolkata Marathon. The BCAC running sensation, Biswajit Tarai clicked a celebrated timing of 1:59:45 for the Half Marathon. Ajay Pradhan and Santosh Behera also completed Half Marathon successfully and won proud laurels for the BCAC.

 

Of late, the craze for running among the members of BCAC has been spreading like a wildfire. More and more members are being motivated to take up running along with cycling as a cross-training. In 2018, BCAC is coming up with new adventure activities, which are challenging and demanding as far as mind-over-body coordination is being considered.
