ICAR-CIFA, Kausalyganga, Bhubaneswar observed first monthly death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Bhubaneswar: The staff recreation club (SRC) of ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Kausalyganga, Bhubaneswar observed the first monthly death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, Former Prime Minister of India on 16 September, 2018. Dr. B. C. Mohapatra, General Secretary, SRC narrated about the purpose of the organising this meeting. Shri I. B. Kumar, Senior Administrative Officer, ICAR-CIFA recited Atal Ji as a legendary personality, who sacrificed his entire life for nation building. He was respected across the political boundaries for his principles.

Dr. B. R. Pillai, Director (Acting), ICAR-CIFA mentioned that India had lost a great leader. His exemplary leadership and futuristic policies set the foundations for a strong and prosperous India. He would remain ever in the heart of each and every citizens of India.

While briefing the biography of Atal Ji, Dr. Panda, Cultural Secretary of the club mentioned that his biography would remain as a source of inspiration for many of us and it would direct us to perform our duties for nation building.
On this occasion Atal ji’s heart touching poems were recited by the members of the club. The meeting was ended with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Snatashree Mohanty, Asst. Cultural Secretary of the club.
