Hindustan Zinc Ltd. appoints Arun Misra as Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Mumbai: Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL), one of the world’s largest and India’s only integrated producer of Zinc-Lead and Silver, announces the appointment of Mr. Arun Misra as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Mr. Misra will be an integral part of the Hindustan Zinc Executive Committee and play a pivotal role towards the company’s expansion projects.
Mr. Arun Misra has completed his Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from IIT – Kharagpur with a Diploma in Mining and Beneficiation from New South Wales Sydney and another Diploma in General Management from CEDEP, France.
Previously working with Tata Steel as Vice President – Raw Materials, Mr. Misra brings with him a rich and diverse experience of 31 years. In addition, he is also the Vice President of Indian Institute of Mineral Engineers and has published several papers in their journal of national repute.
