Armaan Malik has made his fans fall for words of love all over again with his latest track ‘Zara Thehro’. This independent track released a week ago on 8 July, 2020, is already in chartbusters. Speaking about the song Armaan says, “Its really a humble feeling when my listeners shower love to my singles.”
Though the song was made for some movie, but fate had some melodious plans.
Interestingly, the video of ‘Zara Thehro’ has been shot and directed by Armaan’s father Daboo Malik at their home abiding by all the guidelines of Covid-19 and lockdown.
The Malik brothers have given some of the best timeless songs for generations to come. Armaan tells, “Amaal has done a great job with the composition of ‘Zara Thehro’. From recording the song at home to looking into all the technical stuffs, it was a whole new level and learning about working from home.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has left innumerable unanswered questions. In order to pay respect to the departed soul, the duo postponed the promo release of the song to prevent the clash with the trailer of ‘Dil Bechara’. “We decided to postpone our promo release as soon as we got to know about ‘Dil Bechara’. This is least one can do to pay respect and honour an artist who has left the world. We have lots of great memories with Sushant and he will always remain a great artist.”
As an award winning multilingual singer, Armaan’s songs ‘Buttaboma’ (Telugu), ‘Control’ (English), ‘Ami Je Ke Tomar’ (Bangla), ‘Ondu Malebillu’ (Kannada) etc., are quite popular amongst people. Expressing gratitude to his listeners, he says, “As a singer, I have to experiment with languages. But I am glad that it is widely welcomed by my listeners. This is one of the best examples of multiculturalism and vibrancy of art.”
Speaking about his upcoming projects, he says, “I have been working on few songs for films during this lockdown. Hopefully, they will be out soon. I am currently working on a Hindi single but it will take some time to come out. In fact, I am going to do a lot of singles and some international collaborations this year as well.”
