New Delhi: Government today denied claims that COVID-19 can be spread by household pets like cats and dogs. In a tweet, Press Information Bureau clarified that there is no evidence that such transmission of coronavirus is possible or taking place. It urged the people to not fall prey to such rumours saying that pets deserve people’s love and care.
