Bhubaneswar: The All India Forward Bloc (AIFB), the party founded by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose during the Indian freedom struggle, has unanimously decided to extend unconditional support to BJD candidate Rita Sahu for the Bijepur Assembly by-election “in the greater interests of the State”.
AIFB State general secretary Jyoti Ranjan Mohapatra informed this in a letter to BJD president Naveen Patnaik on Monday. He said his party took the decision in conformity with its stand for strengthening secular forces in the State.
