Bhubaneswar: Famous Ollywood singer Humane Sagar on Sunday joined the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the presence of party supremo Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas here.
Talking to the media after joining Odisha’s ruling party, the singer said that he will be working for the party and will carry out all the responsibilities assigned to him.
On the occasion, Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik said, “Sagar’s joining in the BJD will further strengthen the party.” The singer, who has many fan followings in the state, will be seen campaigning for the party in the ensuing general elections, sources said.
