Bhubaneswar: Mr. Erik Solheim, Executive Director, UNEP to India met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Secretariat on Friday.
“Glad to meet United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Executive Director Mr Erik Solheim. We discussed a wide range of issues focusing on sustainable development by protecting the environment. Expressed my Government’s commitment to moving forwad to a green economy through sustainable agriculture and promotion of renewable energy. Appreciated UNEP support for our initiatives,” said CM Naveen Patnaik after the meeting.
Mr. Erik Solheim, Executive Director, UNEP to India also give his lecture at Odisha Knowledge Hub(OKH),Lecture Series.
Theme of the topic was ”The World at a Crossroads” 11th August 2017 Planning & Convergence Department, Government of Odisha.
