Due to cyclone Fani total loss, damage to Odisha Culture Department estimated to be 72.74 Crore

Bhubaneswar: Due to recent cyclone Directorate wing of Culture Department, State Museum, B.K. College of Art & Craft, Odishi Research Centre, Odisha Institute of
Maritime South East Asian Studies, H.K. Mehetab State Library, Utkal University of Culture, Rabindra Mandap, Utkal Mandap, Puri district library, Dhenkanal
Sanskruti Bhawan & Library, Netaji Memorial Museum at Puri and Cuttack, Swaraj Asram and Cuttack district Library, Anand Bhawan at Cuttack have been
damaged. Some of the statues and memorial constructed by Culture Department have also been damaged. Total quantum of loss and damage is primarily estimated
to be 72.74 Crore.
