Baripada: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan BJP workers to convert PM Narendra Modi’s popularity into votes at State Executive meet in Baripada. Minister Pradhan said that the momentum which BJP gained after national conclave in #Bhubaneswar must be maintained till 2019 polls.

“The BJP’s good performance in the recently-held panchayat polls and spontaneous presence of a very large number of people to greet the Prime Minister during party’s national executive meet indicate that people have endorsed the Prime Minister’s welfare programmes for the poor. It is a good sign for the party and, hence, workers should work hard to transform this into votes,” Pradhan said on the concluding day of the party’s State unit executive meeting.

He said the panchayat elections have made it clear that people are heading for a Government change in the State. Pro-poor schemes like supply of LPG gas to rural women and installation of toilets have been highly accepted by people in Odisha. This acceptance would certainly be translated into votes in 2019 general elections, hoped Pradhan.
